Power Station (1985)

Power Station
Michael had to step in on a short notice in June 1985, when Power Station vocalist Robert Palmer dedided that he didn't want to go on the road with the band.
When considering various replacement vocalists, Power Station's guitarist Andy Taylor remembered Michael from the previous year, when Chequered Past had supported Duran Duran at some concerts.
Michael ended up touring the US and Canada during the summer of 1985, and also performed with Power Station at Live Aid in Philadelphia.
He also arranged for the band to appear on his friend Don Johnson's hit TV-show Miami Vice, where they performed a live version of "Get It On" (recorded at a concert a few days earlier).
