The Michael Des Barres Band was formed in January 2011, after Michael had written a lot of new songs that he wanted to play live. These new songs include "From Cloud 9 To Heartache", "Sugar", "Forgive Me", "Hot And Sticky", "My Baby Saved My Ass" and others.
Besides Michael the band consists of Jebin Bruni (Fiona Apple, Aimee Mann) on keyboards, David Goodstein (Nil Lara, Daniel Powter) on drums, Eric Schermerhorn (Iggy Pop, David Bowie) on guitar and Paul Ill (Juliette Lewis, Courtney Love) on bass.
The band initially included Chris Joyner on keyboards and Chris Henry on guitar, but they were later replaced with Bruni and Schermerhorn.
The Michael Des Barres Band has played four concerts at Three Clubs in Hollywood so far. They have also played at The Roxy, The Satellite, The Silverlake Lounge and two shows at The Viper Room. For booking requests, see this page to find contact details.
